Red Star FAQ

Are reservations required?
No, reservations are not required. However, to ensure play, it would be a good idea for parties of ten or more to reserve a timeslot. A nonrefundable deposit is required when making reservations.

How do I make reservations?
Easy. You can either call Red Star Combat at 708-343-7223, or book online at

Why should I choose you when there are other laser tag places around?
Red Star Combat’s laser tag Warhouse possesses nearly 30,000 square feet of reconfigurable battlefield, making it one of the largest battlefields anywhere. Our top of the line weapons eliminate wires and clunky vests that other places use and our guns can simulate eight different types of weapons. To make the experience more genuine, we also have the ‘sounds of war’ playing. We haven’t even mentioned the Base PX where you can enjoy beer, wine, Coke products, snacks, and free Wifi while watching sports on our big screen televisions.

Is laser tag safe?
Laser tag is an aerobic, physical activity. Like competing in other forms of moderate exercise, if you are asthmatic, epileptic, have a heart condition, are pregnant, or if you suffer from any other health condition, play at your own risk. You are personally responsible for deciding whether or not playing laser tag will be detrimental to your condition. We cannot under any circumstances provide medical advice as to whether you will be at risk given your individual health record.

Do I need protective eyewear?
Protective eyewear is not needed.

Is there a way to bring Red Star Combat to me?
Yes. Red Star Combat offers a mobile option. If you can’t make it to our Warhouse, contact us so we can bring the battle to you.

What type of clothing should I wear when playing?
We highly recommend that you do not wear open-toed shoes – sandals, flip-flops, etc. Under no circumstances are you allowed to play barefoot. Sneakers or running shoes work best. In terms of clothing, wear clothing that you would feel comfortable in. Remember, darker clothes will help you stay out of enemy sight.

What is the parking situation at Red Star Combat?
There is plenty of free parking right out front.

Am I allowed to bring food into the facility?
No outside (non-catered event) food or drinks are allowed. Our Base PX should have you covered.
